Economy and Trade

Jimaite's economy depends mostly on trading finished products/constructions. They fully use their craftmanship and teamwork to create amazing and useful tools such as vehicles, guns, weapons, etc. However, they are also experts in creating house furnitures that will allow any customer have a comfortable house with comfortable bed, couch, seats, etc. Unfortunately, the Jimaite lack the appropriate material to make all those goods for themselves, but they often tend to experiment and test out new variations or better ways of making an item. Jimaitians tend to talk amongst themselves and suggest/share their discoveries between themselves to find a better alternative for a certain finished product. It can sometimes be shocking how creative and artistic these people are. The Jimaite, however, does have mines and farms. They grow a specie of plant that is native only to their planet. They call them yumes. These plants are good for food, decoration, perfumes, and many different uses. It is as common on Jimaite as wheat and maize on earth. The production of this plant is eased and sped up by the construction of an automatic land plower created by the Jimaitians that is both fast and precise. It takes a long time to make one machine, but the Jimaitians are willing to do all the hard work. Furthermore, the mining industry in Jimaite also boosted the planet economically. They found gems and ores that is rare to their whole solar system, or even galaxy. They call them the Kilerite. The currency on Jimaite is in jims, and one jim is equivalent to 10 Euros on earth. A gram of Kilerite costs about a million jims, and sometimes even more. The reason that these ores are so costly was because they have the ability to give off power ten times the sun of Artoul. However, if there are too much of them (Kilotons of them), it can lead to the destruction of an entire planet.

Jimaitians trade with other planets on the same galaxy. However, they restrict their travelling distance up to 1 lightyear away from its home planet, and anyone who goes beyond that will be severely punished. The Jimaitians mainly exchange their finished goods with the raw materials from other planets, and charge an amount that is reasonably higher. However, they also exchange yumes with other planets. They even trade Kilerites sometimes, but their selling price is higher than that on their own planet. These people would go on their giant cargo-ships (can be seen in the background) and come back with the whole inventory filled with goods from other planets as well as any left overs from their own planet. However, it takes them approximately 10 Jimaitian days to complete the trip. They often go in packs so they can get more goods and be more efficient. After they come back, the Jimaitians start to buy from the cargo ships, and make their goods to sell them back to the cargo ship owners.
