Most of the people on Jimaite is atheist. However, there are certain people that believe in universalism. Their belief of universalism is not the same as Earth's. They think that the universe originated because the god, Arto, gave life to all the planets and organisms living on it. However, the Jimaitians decided to combine both beliefs. They came up with realism. This is the belief that all things originated or was created from fate, as they call it. The god is the universe and nature, and all things came from nature. Although some still think that god, as they refer it, is a person, others think that god is not a person, but an explanation of causes of events. Their realism combined the ideas on both the beliefs, forming one that all can accept, and then they lived on their life as Jimaitians, as one whole community.

Jimaitians worship their belief by constructing and living a good life, as well as making the life of others great. They think that they were created for a reason, and if "god" decide to place them in a wonderful world, it is their duty to live their life full and in peace. Although there is no specific rituals or similar spiritual actions, these people still achieve to feel that they fulfilled their reason of existance. They are not greedy to go to some sort of good afterlife, so they decided to live their current life well and sound. 

These people came up with the beliefs because there were some people who pondered about the reason and the origin of their existence, and came up with the questions "Why and how did we originate? Where did we come from?"
